Robert Quinn: A Force on the NFL Field

 


Robert Quinn is a former American professional football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons.  

Early Life and College Career:

Born on May 18, 1990, in Ladson, South Carolina, Quinn attended Fort Dorchester High School where he excelled in football. He then went on to play college football at the University of North Carolina, where he was a standout defensive player.  

NFL Career:

  • Drafted by the St. Louis Rams: Quinn was selected 14th overall by the St. Louis Rams in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft.  
  • Career Highlights:
    • He recorded 101.5 sacks during his NFL career, showcasing his impressive pass-rushing ability.
    • He was named to the Pro Bowl three times (2013, 2014, 2019).  
    • He played for several teams throughout his career, including the St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, and Philadelphia Eagles.

In January 2025, Quinn was arrested in South Carolina after allegedly fleeing the scene of a car accident
